The one player I thought when reading is linebacker Eric Hill. He started in all of his 11 NFL seasons with the Cardinals, Rams and Chargers from 1989 to 1999, never making a Pro Bowl, All-Pro or All-Conference, while never playing on a winning team.

Jerry Hilgenberg, a center who was a 4th round Draft choice by the Cleveland Browns in 1954, died on January 16th. He was 92 years old. I remember that when the Raiders played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum they didn't had any MNF games there from 1986 to 1994 (the Raiders did had MNF games, but away). Was it for the bad artificial lights or the empty stands?
