No. I have three severely autistic children. This forum has more than that. A man can only take so much.

Re: George Seifert

He "inheriting" an already superior team, his very unassuming persona, and '1-15' are the three things that'll always keep him out, fair-or-not. I think all three apply to both. There are days when I think, first and foremost, it is a Hall of FAME, and neither Seifert nor Flores have ever...

Re: Super Bowl 54 discussion

I don't know about the score, but I predict this will be the highest rated Super Bowl ever, eclipsing the 114.4 million for XLIX (New England v. Seattle).

Re: Slater and Speedie

It would be funny if the reason Pearson didn't get in was that there are already too many Cowboys. "Yeah, good kid, great hands, but we've got too many Cowboys from the 70's in there. Let's put in Donnie Shell instead." PFR added a feature a few weeks ago, the "Hall of Fame Monitor&qu...

Re: Browns Steelers fight

Postseason - HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! When I read the account of it, I was expecting to see blood pouring out of every one of Rudolph's orifices. But when you see it, the helmet bounces off his head and he's up like the Energizer Bunny, immediately yelling for a flag. Albert Haynesworth's stomp of Andre ...

Re: Top wide receivers in history

I'm not sure exactly what "top" means, but.... 1. Rice 2. Owens 3. Sharpe 4. Berry 5. Hutson Hutson for me is really hard to rate for multiple reasons - to borrow from Chris Rock, all those affirmative action-yards and TDs, the weakened talent pool during the war, and the Bill Walsh effect...

Re: What passing stats still matter to you?

Agree with Reaser. It's all so context dependent that the numbers themselves really don't mean anything.

When I look at a guy's PFR page and see a ton of black ink, combined with multiple *'s and a few +'s, that does impress me. But still...

Re: Pro Football Weekly

I was really interested in purchasing these, but the fact it was 12 boxes of magazines and the guy was in Canada (and there is no telling what the shipping costs would be) made it prohibitive for me to purchase them. I already have more books and magazines about football than I can possibly read. I...

Re: Where would you rank Belichick amongst all time great co

Is he that guy who was here a few years back who truly believed that all the Super Bowls are fixed, and when he was banned from the forum, he put up a website where he had cut and pasted all of our posts on the topic? I'm pretty sure it's a different guy, but the same kind of nut. In fact, even nut...

Re: Where would you rank Belichick amongst all time great co

Brown came into pro football at a time where it was played, coached, and run very poorly and inefficiently. He made all those innovations, but at the same time, the improvements were all ripe for the picking. How does that factor in when comparing him to a coach who is working in a system that is f...
